The universe is conscious. At every moment, it constructs itself as a hall of mirrors. The only observer finds its reflection in an infinite number of mirrors and thereby knows itself. We who are reflections recognize who we are when the observer sees itself in us. The one and only observer thus, in appearance, becomes many.
Prayer is being seen, beheld. It is resonance between the one who prays and the one who is prayed. When we pray, we enter our own reflection, we voluntarize our existence in relationship with the one who seeks to know itself in us. The universe is wonderfully generous, providing to each of us the exact reflection needed for our realization.
Anything you would ask for in prayer is already known. Can you ask to be seen? Can you ask for relationship with the one who sees you? Those who pray in this way find that the answer to their prayer is the prayer.
